I had to put all the best parts of fall into cute sugar cookies, I’m just so excited about the summer coming to an end and getting the cooler fall season started. I am going to show you how to decorate your own fall scarves and pumpkin latte cups.
LATTE CUP AND LEOPARD PRINT SWEATER FALL COOKIES
YOU WILL NEED:
- Cut-out sugar cookie dough
- Royal icing
- Icing colors – I use Americolor brand
- CUTTERS: Scarf Cutter – Sweet Designs Shoppe, Sweater Cutter – Kaleidacuts
TOOLS AND TIPS:

Icing bags
Parchment paper
Cookie sheet
Toothpick or scribe
COLORS YOU WILL NEED:
Ivory Icing – outline and flood
Brown Icing – outline and flood
Black – outline and flood
Olive Green – outline and flood
LATTE CUP COOKIE
OUTLINE and FLOODING
Step 1: Outline the top portion of the coffee cup with brown piping icing. Outline the middle section with olive green piping icing.
Step 2: Fill the outline using brown flood icing. Fill the outline middle section with green flood icing.
Stop and allow your cookie to dry in front of a fan for 1-2 hours before flooding the next section.
Step 3: Outline the bottom section and just under the top section in white outline icing. Using orange outline icing add 2 sections for your pumpkin. Use brown outline icing to make the stem in the middle of the 2 sections.
Stop and allow your cookie to dry in front of a fan for 1-2 hours before flooding the next section.
DETAILS
Step 4: Using brown piping icing outline the top sections of the latte cup. For the middle section of the pumpkin fill in using orange piping. Outline the green section of the cut in green piping icing.
SCARF COOKIE
OUTLINE AND FLOODING
Step 1: Outline the top portion of the scarf with ivory piping icing.
Step 2: Fill the outlined section of the scare with ivory flood icing. Using olive green flood icing make 2 lines one direction and 2 lines going the other direction.
Stop and allow your cookie to dry in front of a fan for 10-15 min.
Step 3: Outline the left portion of the scarf with ivory piping icing.
Step 4: Fill the outlined section of the scare with ivory flood icing. Using olive green flood icing make 2 lines one direction and 2 lines going the other direction.
Stop and allow your cookie to dry in front of a fan for 10-15 min.
Step 5: Outline the right portion of the scarf with ivory piping icing.
Step 6: Fill the outlined section of the scare with ivory flood icing. Using olive green flood icing make 2 lines one direction and 2 lines going the other direction.
DETAILS
Step 7: Using piping icing add fringe to the end of the scarf alternating between ivory and olive green.
